The vent issue keeps the helmet visor fogging up until I crack open the visor. This could be fixed in future versions of the helmet. The instructions on pairing the helmet for the intercom system are horrible and written in a font so small that mice squint to read them. The instructions do not say that the helmets will lose connection with each other once the helmet is turned off, requiring repairing and clearing the previous intercom pairing. That said, the FM radio is good. Voice commands from Google assistant and Alexa work when set up. The phone controls for music are also good, however I have to control volume for that function on my phone. The helmet causes the music to skip to the next song or repeat the last song played. Phone conversations are loud enough to be heard even with earplugs and the quality is acceptable. Overall, I like this helmet for the price. My Sena helmets are awesome too, but cost twice as much for what I feel is the same featured helmet. Solid buy.”

It goes on a bit tight but once you slide it all the way on, it just perfectly fits the shape of your head (at least for me it did). The helmet is comfortable and lightweight. Ventilation is phenomenal and it’s also very quiet inside the helmet. It actually even blocks out a lot of the motorcycle noises. JBL 45mm helmet speakers fit perfectly inside the helmet without the booster pads. I removed the foam covers from them since the cheek guard panel goes over them anyways (does not seem to have any effect on tone or volume). Not only that but with the speakers in place, they’re perfectly aligned with my ears and fit relatively closely to them without causing discomfort. You hardly even feel them, but they sound amazing. I love this helmet, especially with the American classic style artwork. Looks sick with a nice leather jacket. Buy it. It’s comfortable. It’s rad. It meets EU safety standards (which are more strict than US standards).”

Customer Review: “Really like the Exo Covert as it has the classic styling which I’ve always seen drag racers wear, but even slightly modernized. Great comfort and fits my headshape very well. As compared to my previous helmet it is much better ventilated and by a good margin the quietest helmet I’ve experienced. Cushions are nice and comfy as well. The visor is great and has very small increments of adjustments which allow it to be left at any position you’d like. Biggest gripe would be the vent controls. The front one is on the inside of the helmet right in front of your chin and cannot easily be accessed while riding let alone with gloves on. The top one is fine but not intuitive as it is a left to right function. Neither are clear which position is open vs closed.”

It fit well, but was quite snug… Since I ride a Yzf-r1, I prefer it to be a little snug. When I first put it on, it was hard to talk, so I sat in my living room listening to music for 30min, until it was easy for me to talk while wearing it… The sound is better than I expected. There is some distortion from deep bass through the Bluetooth, but my Spotify is optimized for my X6 and airpods (don’t want to adjust eq, so I just turned the volume down a a couple clicks rather than running max…) While riding, I was able to hold a conversation… My R1 has a cross-plane engine and upgraded exhaust and the other party stated they could still hear me clearly while I was accelerating and also while holding 150mph for a few moments… The helmet is only DOT rated (I don’t see Snell certs) so I don’t suggest super high speeds with it, but it’s a blast. I appreciate that the speakers are on both sides and when you close the visor it creates a noise canceling vacuum with studio like acoustics (or as close as you could expect while riding a crotch rocket.) From conversations to listening to music, I enjoy it… The sun visor is another plus… I don’t think you can go wrong for the price. I have not tried the intercom feature, since none of my friends have a helmet like this, but if they upgrade and we use group chat, I’ll update my review. Also, keep in mind that it uses Bluetooth through your device, so even if your friends have different helmets, maybe you can just create a discord chat. Cons: It does fog relatively easily (I live in Florida where it’s humid.) Maybe some anti-fog spray would help though.”
