I wasn’t impressed. Design was awesome, shape of the helmet made me feel like an extraterrestrial riding around my motorcycle.When my last S&S helmet fell apart last Friday, I took a chance on this brand and I’m super glad I did. I got the matte black helmet and installed the tinted visor and I have to say, it was so sick I couldn’t believe it was only $60. I was so stoked I was doing some ninja moves in my helmet and my dog was looking at me like I had lost my mind.What I like about this helmet:# It’s got a quick release strap# It’s soft on the inside# It’s breathable material; I didn’t feel or notice much sweat in my helmet which is impressive for the Arizona heat# It’s beautifully designed, I didn’t see any imperfections in the helmet design or finish# The tinted visor is REALLY tinted, like black-tinted not that stupid smoke color everyone tries to sell you. You have no idea the difference it makes while driving around in Arizona. Seriously. First, you can not escape the sun. And about half the day, it’s only agenda is to try and kill you by blinding you with its death rays. As soon as you drop that tinted visor down, you forget the sun is even there – that’s how harmless it feels. You would think that with as dark as the visor is, it would be hard to see. I know it’s so strange to say but the clarity of that visor is superb. It’s not dark at all from the inside, at least not like you would expect when you see the visor on the outside. It’s like looking at everything through some super, super clean sunglasses.# It’s just all around a very decent and reasonably priced helmet.What I don’t like about the helmet:# Who came up with the zipper idea?! I want to know because it can’t be someone that rides a motorcycle. I do not want a zipper around the base of my neck! If I want to cover my neck, I’ll just cover it with a jacket or something else. That’s not my helmet’s job or problem. Just stick to the stuff you got right and get rid of the zipper and I think you’ll have people coming back for years. I’m just glad it’s discreet but I still have to look at it every time I put my helmet on.Bottom line is:If you only ride occasionally or once in a blue moon, stick to the more expensive helmets – it’s better to be safe than sorry until the newer brands are put to the test. You’re not very likely to run through them that fast because you don’t ride as much. But if you ride every day like me, a simple drop of the helmet from hip-height walking down the hallway at work could impact or ruin its ability to protect you in the future if the material inside expands. Gets expensive so it becomes a bit more practical to choose a reasonably priced helmet because you end up having to buy 1-3 each year if you don’t treat them right.Get this helmet. Seriously. You’d be crazy not to sport this around town. Next paycheck, I’ll be getting another color. Can’t wait.”

Customer Review: “Very nice helmet. Fits well, though I up-sized slightly ‘off chart’ after trying one on locally. Interior padding is very comfortable. The photochromatic shield is amazing. It really does work wonderfully reacting to lighting conditions, and never fogs (to clarify, I got the Qualifier DLX Mip, though the listing currently shows Gloss Black as the standard Qualifier). I questioned the worth of the breath deflector, but after removing it to try riding without it I’ve been convinced. It really does work. All in all, a very nice helmet at a very reasonable price. Worth the price difference for the DLX vs standard Qualifier just for the light sensitive shield, but it also includes Mips safety, breath deflector, and chin dam.”

Sent it back and was issued a refund and bought the right size. The air vents lets u adjust the amount of air u want flowing through while u ride. DOT certification is also a big plus. Bell has been around for a long time and they make quality stuff! Definitely worth the money. If ur thinking of the 2x go ahead and grab the 3x as they fit snug.”

It actually even blocks out a lot of the motorcycle noises.JBL 45mm helmet speakers fit perfectly inside the helmet without the booster pads. I removed the foam covers from them since the cheek guard panel goes over them anyways (does not seem to have any affect on tone or volume). Not only that but with the speakers in place, they’re perfectly aligned with my ears and fit relatively closely to them without causing discomfort. You hardly even feel them, but they sound amazing.I love this helmet, especially with the American classic style artwork. Looks sick with a nice leather jacket.Buy it. It’s comfortable. It’s rad. Great comfort and fits my headshape very wellAs compared to my previous helmet it is much better ventilated and by a good margin the quietest helmet I’ve experienced. Cushions are nice and comfy as well. The visor is great and has very small increments of adjustments which allow it to be left at any position you’d like.Biggest gripe would be the vent controls. The front one is on the inside of the helmet right in front of your chin and cannot easily be accessed while riding let alone with gloves on. The top one is fine but not intuitive as it is a left to right function. Neither are clear which position is open vs closed.”

I Really wanted a very safe and Snell certified helmet, apart form the obvious DOT certification, and this one was a perfect fit for me. It fits really snug, looks sick, and feels very comfortable on my head without feeling too heavy. It does seem to be well built and has on/off air holes on top of the head and at your mouth that you can open for ventilation. Trust me this makes a difference especially on a cold LA night to keep your head warm. I also got Cardo audio system on it and this helmet was perfectly fitted with velcro for the Cardo earpieces. Customer Review: “So far I love this helmet – the design and the fit. It’s very snug but still comfortable. I tried on several other helmets from other manufacturers and they all gave me a headache after wearing for only 5-10 minutes. Tried on an EXO-R430 at a local shop and loved the fit (I have a longer, more oval head), but I didn’t like the design. It has a HUGE R430 graphic on it. I found this one a couple of months ago while searching for helmets online, and thought I missed out on it as I couldn’t find it anywhere – all sellers showed out of stock. I contacted Scorpion and they said it was a brand new design and wouldn’t be available until the end of December, so I patiently waited.I’m glad I did. I LOVE the design. The only thing I would say is that the ‘red’ isn’t really red – it’s like a neon orange/red. I was specifically looking for red, but it doesn’t bother me – it still looks great.I’ve only worn it out for a ride once, so I’ll return with additional feedback as I use it. I did notice right away though that it doesn’t fog up nearly as much as my old helmet. It was also a bit tricky to swap the face shields (I bought a dark smoke one), but if you pay attention and use a little logic, it’s not too terrible.”
