Customer Review: “I have a good collection of DOT certified motorcycle helmets that I rotate out based on weather and if it’s for daytime or nighttime riding. If I am in a rush, I will typically just grab my default white helmet due to its high visibility factor. I love the way white helmets look. In this case this ILM helmet is a glossy, metallic white and it has the subtle look of an old muscle car. Combined with the included iridium colored visor, the helmet looks awesome (clear visor included as well). There is a tail spoiler that is included which attaches with two screws. The spoiler creates a streamlined look when riding tucked into the bubble. The fit and finish of the helmet is great and the craftsmanship is very nice. The ABS molding is neat and everything operates smoothly. The clear visor however, is a bit looser than the other ILM helmets I have and I do have a concern that the visor may not be able to stay open a crack when I need to vent the helmet during a ride. So far so good though. One of the best features is the internal tinted visor for sun visibility. Sliding the tab at the left neck of the helmet raises or lowers the internal visor at the drop of a dime – a feature I have loved on my other ILM helmets. When I get onto a street and I find the sun in my eyes, I bring the visor down and I am good to go again. This is a great safety feature and it’s incredibly convenient while riding. I find it better than wearing sunglasses which can droop or get uncomfortable. The vents on the helmet are pretty basic with them being at the chin and one at the top. The nose curtain is sturdy and is good at blocking the wind and cold when riding which helps with wind mitigation but in particular, it helps mainly to keep mouth and nose vapor from fogging up the visor. Incidentally, the helmet includes a non-Pinlock anti-fog visor, which is a nice touch and a great value. There is a chin curtain as well and that helps mainly to block the wind draft that brings in cold air and helps to reduce noise. Of course, the quick release chin strap is a big plus since it is so easy to unbuckle my helmet after a ride. I love not having to fiddle with the strap and the old school D-rings. I got a size smaller than what I normally wear in order to get a more snug fit and it is quite snug but not overly so. I can imagine that the cheek pads would break in a bit with use and not press as much. This fit could actually work long-term as long as I consistently wear it to soften up the pads. Overall, this is another great helmet from ILM that is affordable and pretty to look at.”

Customer Review: “Great Helmet, good fit for son 13 6ft 3 180lbs. Purchased this to keep him safe on his Electric Scooter which goes up 2 30mph. He had 1 accident recently when he had to take a dive to avoid a car backing out suddenly. He was pretty skinned up and even hit his chin area on the road ect and was going about 15mph at the time however, this helmet fully protected his head and chin with out tearing up the helmet either. The gloves didn’t hold up so well and are both torn from this accident and hitting the pavement. Prior to the accident the gloves fit well and helped w a good grip ect. Tho the gloves tore his hands were unscathed so they did their job. Highly recommend this helmet for safety and looks good as well. The gloves, helmet, and eye protection are a good quality, fit, comfort, and price point. Wish gloves had held up a bit more but they protected my kid so no complaints.”

The company even helped with out with a warranty when the mouth piece broke off during that experience.If you live somewhere where the weather can cause condensation from your breath, look into getting a pin lock insert, with that installed the helmet has been made perfect for me. I enjoy the built in visor for when my sunglasses aren’t completely cutting it, and my sunglasses fit comfortably while wearing the helmet which is a huge pro for me.The only con would be wind noise, but I sit high on my bike where the windscreen isn’t blocking all of the air. I’ve also got long hair which breaks the seal around my neck, so at speed I notice the wind noise a lot more than just driving through the city. Could be me, could be the helmet, just something to be aware of.”

Customer Review: “Overall, this is a very nice helmet but fits a bit snug around the cheeks/face.As per the instructions, I measured my head and got a medium as that is where I fell. At the top/crown of my head, the helmet fits great – snug with pretty much no movement, but not painful — just how you want it. Along the cheeks though, it is a very snug fit and while not painful, could best be described as lightly uncomfortable. I believe though that with time and use, these will “pack in” a bit an not be as noticeable.The look of the helmet is great and the included gloves/goggles/facemask are ok and a nice touch. If you are really into motorcycles and especially off road, you probably have your own stuff, but if you are just getting into it or are looking for a package deal, this is a decent addition and again, a nice touch to include with the helmet.I hope to never have to test its ability to protect me in a crash, but overall, I think this is a good value and a good looking product that I would buy again.”

Customer Review: “I could not be more impressed with the quality of each of the items that came with this. The goggles are especially impressive because they’re heavy! I would have expected them to be really light and flimsy feeling and just thrown in the box with the helmet as extra fluff to make it seem like a great deal when, in reality, they and the other “accessories” may as well have been purchased from a dollar store. That’s not the case at all though- each item is well made and seems as though I will get a lot of life out of them. There were some minor paint flaws on the helmet where it looked almost like drip marks as the pattern was a bit bumpy where it obviously shouldn’t have been, but that is a very minimal complaint and hardly noticeable unless pointed out and a person goes looking for it. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product- or, rather, these products!”

Customer Review: “I do not understand why so many exterior motorcycle helmet designs are extremely plain/boring — or look WAY too much like they’re meant for football players.Unlike typical helmets, the colors of the ‘rally navy’ by LEM are both beautiful and unique. I LOVE, LOVE the look!I am a female, but believe the look would work for both males and females.I cannot comment about the noise level because the size small turned out to be too tight for my 22″ head… more specifically, my oversized forehead was the problem. I could get it on fine, but it left a horizontal line across my forehead after wearing it just 30 minutes.I contacted LEM to ask when they would have a size medium available in this style. They responded very quickly, but was told they would be back in stock in March or April (2026).Although I had to return the size small due to the tight fit issue, I was highly impressed by the quality of both the interior and exterior — to include not only the padding, but also the chin strap.The only con in my opinion is the fact that it is not available in the modular style. I would very much prefer to be able to keep my helmet on while stopped and talking to other people, or drinking water, etc. There’s also the matter of me living (and riding) in the intense Florida heat and humidity. Nonetheless, I will be ordering a medium once that size becomes available because the pros of the high quality and this awesome design FAR outweigh the single (subjective) con of it being a full face type of helmet.”

Customer Review: “This isn’t bad at all. It’s actually impressive. Full disclosure, I got this as a spare because I needed a SMALL size. Every so often I need to give someone a ride, so I like to have different helmets of various sizes ready. I don’t know anything about LEM, the way I know Bell, Sedici, SHOEI, etc. For now, I’ll only allow this helmet to be used under very strict circumstances; like short distance rides on safe, local roads.The helmet feels very well made. It has several vents on top to allow air to flow through. It carries the most current DOT certification. The packaging is a branded box and inside you have the helmet, a bag, manual and reflective stickers…which I think is VERY smart and a great extra!The manufacture of the helmet seems to be very high. Upon inspection of seams, contact and insertion points, the straps, the cushions and connections for the visor, you can clearly see the quality. There is a clear outer visor that smoothly closes and opens and it does include pinlock mounting points! Another nice extra! One additional bonus is the removable chin bar. The chin bar will definitely not protect you from a serious impact but it does offer shelter from the elements and if it’s hot, you can quickly remove it to allow for more air flow and better communication. This really expands the functionality of this bucket.The padding inside is thick, soft and lush. I had my neighbor wear it for a while on her head because it’s not my size. She said it fit her perfectly and was very comfortable. The padding and liner inside are removable which will make cleaning and deodorizing headache free. It was easy to put on and take off, simple to slide down the visor and the inner drop down visor.Finally, the last two things that caught my attention is you get a true D-ring for the chin strap and the reflective stickers. I always tell my fellow riders to put them on to improve visibility.Overall, I like this helmet. I think it’s worth considering.”
