Customer Review: I purchased this helmet as a budget-friendly full-face option, and I was honestly impressed with the overall quality for the price point. The helmet feels solid and well-built, especially considering it’s around the $90 range. The dual visor setup works smoothly, the padding is comfortable, and the interior feels better than expected for a helmet in this category. It also looks great in person — the matte black aqua color really stands out without being overly flashy. One important thing to note is sizing. This helmet runs a bit snug compared to others I’ve worn, so I would strongly recommend going one size up from your normal helmet size, especially if you’re between sizes. Because of the tighter fit, I ended up giving this helmet to my little sister, and it fits her perfectly and comfortably.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Very nice. Simple yet effective. I have a large head and a 3XL would have been preferred, but I decided to try the XXL, and it just barely makes it. The measurements list up to about a 26″ head circumference for the XXL, so I figured I’d be right at the edge there as I’m literally right at the far end of 26″ and some change. All that to say, it fits pretty comfortably although obviously a size up would have been better. I fit comfortably into a 3XL in the HJC brand, so I’d say size wise it’s probably comparable to that. I love that it comes with the colorful visor even though it’s not totally tinted (I’m hoping it’s less transparent when in outside light). They are very easy to swap out although I had to use a tool to assist since I have long fingernails. It also comes with an anti fog thing, but it seemed to be ventilated enough to not fog up with just normal breathing. For the price, I am totally satisfied. Yay!
Customer Review: Great fit and the dual visors are awesome. The visors are easy to change.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I somehow ordered this full face helmet when I meant to order the modular. I reached out to HAX through Amazon explaining my mistake and asking how it should be handled, They suggested it will be quicker/easier to purchase the modular and send the full face back for a refund. The more I looked at the full face version, the more I liked it and showed it to my wife, who fell in love with it so I just kept it for her. My modular came the next day so I contacted them again, and both times received timely responses to my inquiries. A few days later I noticed a $30 coupon for the modular, so I reached out to them again and they were more than happy to refund me the difference. I just got done setting both helmets up with Bluetooth intercom. I used mine for the first time yesterday and couldn’t be happier with the fit and performance. For me, having the ability to go open face at any given time quickly is massive. The vents seem to be in all the right places and they work well. I highly recommend this helmet and company. Excellent product, meets US and European safety standards, the price is very reasonable, and they are stylish. Go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
Customer Review: Great helmet. I love how it fits! This is the most comfortable helmet I have. I really like it. I’m buying another to have once this one gets old.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I have a good collection of DOT certified motorcycle helmets that I rotate out based on weather and if it’s for daytime or nighttime riding. If I am in a rush, I will typically just grab my default white helmet due to its high visibility factor. I love the way white helmets look. In this case this ILM helmet is a glossy, metallic white and it has the subtle look of an old muscle car. Combined with the included iridium colored visor, the helmet looks awesome (clear visor included as well). There is a tail spoiler that is included which attaches with two screws. The spoiler creates a streamlined look when riding tucked into the bubble. The fit and finish of the helmet is great and the craftsmanship is very nice. The ABS molding is neat and everything operates smoothly. The clear visor however, is a bit looser than the other ILM helmets I have and I do have a concern that the visor may not be able to stay open a crack when I need to vent the helmet during a ride. So far so good though. One of the best features is the internal tinted visor for sun visibility. Sliding the tab at the left neck of the helmet raises or lowers the internal visor at the drop of a dime – a feature I have loved on my other ILM helmets. When I get onto a street and I find the sun in my eyes, I bring the visor down and I am good to go again. This is a great safety feature and it’s incredibly convenient while riding. I find it better than wearing sunglasses which can droop or get uncomfortable. The vents on the helmet are pretty basic with them being at the chin and one at the top. The nose curtain is sturdy and is good at blocking the wind and cold when riding which helps with wind mitigation but in particular, it helps mainly to keep mouth and nose vapor from fogging up the visor. Incidentally, the helmet includes a non-Pinlock anti-fog visor, which is a nice touch and a great value. There is a chin curtain as well and that helps mainly to block the wind draft that brings in cold air and helps to reduce noise. Of course, the quick release chin strap is a big plus since it is so easy to unbuckle my helmet after a ride. I love not having to fiddle with the strap and the old school D-rings. I got a size smaller than what I normally wear in order to get a more snug fit and it is quite snug but not overly so. I can imagine that the cheek pads would break in a bit with use and not press as much. This fit could actually work long-term as long as I consistently wear it to soften up the pads. Overall, this is another great helmet from ILM that is affordable and pretty to look at.
Customer Review: As an Amazon Vine Voice member and a long-time user of ILM gear, I’ve come to expect a high level of feature-density at a reasonable price. This ILM 619 Full Face Helmet is no exception—it is a visually striking piece of equipment with some high-end inclusions, though it does have a few quirks regarding fit and airflow. Aesthetics and Design (The Big Pros): The “Chameleon” color is absolutely awesome. The paint shifts beautifully depending on the lighting and the angle you’re looking from; it’s a very cool, premium look that definitely stands out on the road. Beyond the paint, the helmet is packed with features: Dual Lenses: It includes both a clear and a smoke lens, which is a fantastic value-add. Flip-Down Sunglasses: The internal drop-down visor is smooth and very convenient for transitioning into the sun. Bluetooth Ready: I was pleased to find dedicated speaker pockets with the Velcro fasteners already installed, making it very easy to integrate a comms system. Aerodynamics: The rear wind deflector/spoiler gives it a sleek racing profile and helps with stability at higher speeds. Performance and Anti-Fog: One of the major highlights at this $100 price point is the inclusion of a Pinlock-style anti-fog shield. However, the execution is a bit hit-or-miss. The insert itself is slightly smaller than a standard Pinlock, and I encountered a persistent fog spot in the bottom left corner regardless of how many times I reinstalled it. It’s still better than a standard shield, but it’s not quite perfect. The 4-Star Drawbacks (Sizing and Airflow): The primary reason for the 4-star rating is the sizing. I found that this “Small” runs significantly tighter than other ILM helmets I’ve used in the past. If you are ordering this, I highly recommend going one full size up from your regular helmet size. Because of the tight fit, it was almost too snug to be comfortable for long durations. Additionally, the airflow is just “okay.” It’s not bad, but I would have preferred a bit more ventilation. The bottom vent in particular feels like it could be a bit larger to help move more air across the face, especially in more humid conditions. Value: At $100, this is still an incredible value. You are getting a feature-rich, comfortable (once you get the size right), and visually stunning helmet for a fraction of the cost of premium racing brands. While there are a few limitations with the airflow and the anti-fog insert, the trade-off is well worth it. Conclusion: This is a high-quality, stylish helmet that would have easily been my main winter gear if the fit had been more consistent with their other models. If you size up and can handle a little bit of fogging in the corner, this is a fantastic buy for the price. 4 out of 5 stars!
Complete Buying Guide for Gold Full Face Motorcycle Helmet
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a gold full face motorcycle helmet, safety certifications like DOT and ECE are crucial to ensure proper protection. Comfort features such as hypoallergenic liners, ventilation, and fit are important for long rides. Dual visor systems with pinlock-ready or anti-fog visors enhance visibility and convenience in varied weather. Weight and aerodynamics also affect rider fatigue and noise levels. Lastly, the gold finish should complement your style without compromising durability.
Budget Planning
Prices for gold full face helmets vary widely based on brand, certifications, and features. Budget options may offer solid protection but might lack advanced ventilation or premium materials. Mid-range helmets balance price with comfort and aesthetics, often including dual visors and improved liners. Premium helmets add features like Bluetooth compatibility, enhanced aerodynamics, and superior anti-fog visors. Decide your must-have features and allocate your budget accordingly to get the best value.
Final Thoughts
Your helmet is your most important gear, so pick one that fits well, meets safety standards, and suits your riding style. Gold full face helmets stand out by combining protection with an attractive look. Take time to try different sizes and consider weighted factors like ventilation and visor systems. With proper care, a quality gold full face helmet will keep you safe and looking sharp on every ride.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are gold full face motorcycle helmets as safe as other colors?
A: Yes, the color finish does not affect the helmet’s safety. Safety depends on the helmet’s certifications, materials, and construction, which remain consistent regardless of color.
Q: How do I choose the right size for a full face helmet?
A: Measure your head circumference around the largest part of your head and compare it to the helmet sizing chart. It’s often recommended to try helmets on or order from sellers with easy return policies. Many gold full face helmets may run snug, so sizing up slightly can be beneficial.
Q: What is the benefit of a dual visor system?
A: Dual visors provide flexibility by offering a clear visor for normal conditions and a tinted or sun visor for bright daylight. This allows riders to quickly adapt to changing light without needing to swap helmets or visors.
Q: Can I use a pinlock anti-fog lens with all gold full face helmets?
A: Not all helmets come pinlock-ready, but many modern full face helmets do. Check the helmet’s specifications to confirm compatibility. Pinlock lenses help prevent visor fogging, improving visibility in cold or humid conditions.
Q: How do I maintain the gold finish on my helmet?
A: Clean your helmet regularly with mild soap and water, avoiding abrasive materials. Use a soft microfiber cloth to wipe it down and store it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or damage to the finish.
