Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Excellent helmet but keep in mind the first real spill you have You’re going to need to get another one. Your head will be fine but something will be wrong with helmet. I’ve gone through three of these so far. Fell off my motorcycle in the rain My head hit the ground twice and was protected however the inner sunglass visor lever broke and it would no longer stay in the upright position. The second one I had fell off my bike while I was parked and loading my compartment and when it hit the ground some plastic piece let’s say along the back of the neck broke off and would not snap back into place and stay there I had to try to glue it and it’s still came back apart again. I’m not sure if this is normal for all motorcycle helmets but I have dropped each one of the three helmets at some point or another on the glass visor side and the glass visor stays permanently scratched. I usually ride around with the modular part up using it as a kind of half helmet and keeping the sunglasses visor attachment over my eyes. After only a few weeks of riding around the sunglass visor gets extremely scratched and scuffed from various tiny debris that would be hitting my face otherwise. At the price point of only approximately $70 when I compare this helmet to other helmets that cost upwards all the way up to approximately 1,000, as this is my first motorcycle helmet I have ever had I think this is a great product for its price point and I won’t deduct any stars because you can only expect so much from a helmet that is essentially as cheap as you can get and doesn’t leave you with a concussion if you crash.”
Customer Review: “Very nice helmet. I ordered a XL and it fits snug. I’m sure after I have worn it awhile it will loosen up some. The visor is easy to open and close and the tinted drop down visor works well with wearing my prescription glasses. All in all it’s a great helmet so far.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “For an entry level helmet that’s not costing a few hundred dollars, I couldn’t find a better value. It has Bluetooth cutouts, comes with both a clear, and tinted shield, and a flip down smoked visor. The quality is good, fit true to size. There is a decent amount of noise that makes it through and can drown out calls, so if you are looking for a quiet helmet this may not be the one for you. The look is nothing flashy but I think it does look nice with its subtle curves and lines. I find it to be comfortable, but doesn’t breathe well on hot days, so may be great for winter riding to keep warm, but can be stuffy in warm weather. All in all, for the price point, I think it’s a great value.”
Customer Review: “First I got this an my hubby got the all matte black. They are well put together and fit exactly. I love the ability to change it up in style. It came with so much little goodies including gloves and a baklava. The inside shaded goggles that are retractable is a great feature. Its comfortable and feels light but secure. Visor up down and a extra tinted one if that is what you want. Great quality! Very easy to get on an off.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Great quality! A bit too big and needs the be exchanged.”
Customer Review: “This isn’t bad at all. It’s actually impressive. Full disclosure, I got this as a spare because I needed a SMALL size. Every so often I need to give someone a ride, so I like to have different helmets of various sizes ready. I don’t know anything about LEM, the way I know Bell, Sedici, SHOEI, etc. For now, I’ll only allow this helmet to be used under very strict circumstances; like short distance rides on safe, local roads. The helmet feels very well made. It has several vents on top to allow air to flow through. It carries the most current DOT certification. The packaging is a branded box and inside you have the helmet, a bag, manual and reflective stickers…which I think is VERY smart and a great extra! The manufacture of the helmet seems to be very high. Upon inspection of seams, contact and insertion points, the straps, the cushions and connections for the visor, you can clearly see the quality. There is a clear outer visor that smoothly closes and opens and it does include pinlock mounting points! Another nice extra! One additional bonus is the removable chin bar. The chin bar will definitely not protect you from a serious impact but it does offer shelter from the elements and if it’s hot, you can quickly remove it to allow for more air flow and better communication. This really expands the functionality of this bucket. The padding inside is thick, soft and lush. I had my neighbor wear it for a while on her head because it’s not my size. She said it fit her perfectly and was very comfortable. The padding and liner inside are removable which will make cleaning and deodorizing headache free. It was easy to put on and take off, simple to slide down the visor and the inner drop down visor. Finally, the last two things that caught my attention is you get a true D-ring for the chin strap and the reflective stickers. I always tell my fellow riders to put them on to improve visibility.Overall, I like this helmet. I think it’s worth considering.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “So here’s the thing: this helmet? Absolute champ. Me? Not so much. I had the pleasure of testing it the hard way when my bike hydroplaned in a sudden downpour. My head hit the ground like a Spotify ad between sad songs (sudden, jarring, and completely uncalled for), and I felt nothing. Not a headache, not a wobble, just pure “huh, neat! It works!” The rest of my body was…not as neat, but my brain was chillin. Even my glasses somehow stayed on my face.Fit-wise, the XL hugs my head like my mother never did. The dual visor is perfect for Florida’s weather mood swings (from “stormy gloom” to “OH MY GOD THE SUN” in 0.3 seconds). Ventilation? Solid. Padding? Comfy. Modular mouthpiece? Perfect for yelling “I’M OKAY” to concerned bystanders. Quick-release strap? Maybe not the Fort Knox of safety features, but it held up when I turned into a bowling ball, so I’m not complaining. If you want NASA-grade protection, you’ll pay NASA prices. But if you’re like me, broke but still emotionally invested in having a skull, this helmet’s the move. It keeps your noggin safe and your dignity mostly intact.Buying my replacement right now. Wish me luck, guys.”
Customer Review: “A decent bike helmet at a low price. Did save me when a car back rear ended me on an E scooter as I went flying forward. Only down side is it lacks breathability, great for winter and probably too hot for summer.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Love the look and feel of the helmet but cannot get any customer service for it so it I have to return it.UPDATE:So, the company contacted me and asked me to give them a second chance both with the helmet and their customer service. As I honestly believe that just about everyone deserves a second chance I agreed and I am very glad I did! It’s been a month now of using the helmet on a very regular basis and I can give a full review of my thoughts and experiences. Firstly, the helmet looks really great and fits really well. Snug but not too tight. Just make sure you pay attention to their sizing and you should be fine. Great solid feel to it without being excessively heavy. Build quality is great and everything feels secure when you adjust or move things about like the chin/front modular part or any of the shields with distinctive clicks and stability with each adjustment. I also thinks its great that you have options of layers of protection with the interior and exterior shields. I don’t have to wear sunglasses at all… normally an absolute need for me due to extreme photosensitivity… and I can adjust based on the level of sun/cloud each day. The vents are great when you are in a warmer location but will close if you need for colder weather. I have used it for motorcycling, on a scooter, and more unconventionally, with my mountain bike. Some have complained about ‘wind’ noise but honestly I don’t find it any more, or less, than with any other helmets I have used and with the full face it is reduced for me. The visibility is great and clear all around and having the option to open the front visor and keep the face visor closed allows more cooling effects without denying you needed full light protection. Something that can come in handy if you are biking with it and your exertion breathing can get it pretty warm inside. I have gotten a lot of complements from others and even had to opportunity to take it into a local motorcycle accessories store and they agreed that it was a quality that they would expect on a much pricier helmet! And the added certification of ECE is a great bonus that they said was normally only for much pricier helmets as well. It is also a real bonus that you can both remove and wash the liner as well as replace it easily. The front shield is a bit tough to get off and you will feel like its going to snap but it won’t, so just be patient and it will come off to clean and/or attach a pinlock shield to if you wish, which can definitely come in handy depending on your weather situation. Customer service is not immediate but they will respond given time so if you have an immediate question be aware that you will most likely not receive an immediate answer. And, as a side note… if you try to find information or video reviews online you will most likely only find them in Spanish. Something that the company should also take note of if they are going to expect a broader market outside of the Spanish speaking population getting really interested in their products… which are great products! Am I glad I gave it a second chance? Absolutely! Would I buy another helmet from them? Absolutely! Do I recommend that you get yourself a HAX helmet for yourself if you are in the market for a new or different helmet? Absolutely!”
Customer Review: “I’ve been using this for an upwards of a year and have crashed twice with it on my electric skateboard. Both times it prevented me from getting injured and it sustained nearly no damage from the falls. It’s comfortable, looks stylish, and customizable. If you’re worried about not being able to breathe in this helmet, the front and top vents are efficient in delivering airflow throughout the helmet. You can also drop the inner-visor and lift the outer one to get more airflow which is great for cooling down a bit. The inner-visor is also more transparent than the outer one, which I like to use at night to keep stuff from blowing onto my face. The opening design is also functional as the hooks that keep it from opening are made of some sort of metal; either aluminum or stainless steel. Both times of crashing, it never opened once and felt very cushy. You can also install some headphones on the ear-pieces as there are precut holes there. Taking glasses on-and-off is also pretty easy, but you will find yourself having to maneuver them sometimes so the arms aren’t pressed against your head uncomfortably. So overall for $130~ this is all you could really ask for. Great everything, and hasn’t disappointed.”
Complete Buying Guide for Modular Full Face Motorcycle Helmet
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a modular full face motorcycle helmet, safety certifications like DOT, ECE, or Snell are a must-check to ensure reliable protection. The helmet’s shell material – whether ABS, polycarbonate, fiberglass, or carbon fiber – affects weight, durability, and comfort. Look for helmets with effective ventilation systems to keep you cool during rides and removable liners for easier cleaning. The modular flip-up mechanism should operate smoothly and lock securely in place. Additional features like dual visors, including internal sunshields, add versatility for changing light conditions.
Budget Planning
Modular helmets come in a wide price range. Entry-level helmets under $150 provide basic safety and features suitable for casual riders, while premium models with advanced materials and technology can exceed $500. Consider how often you ride, your safety needs, and extra features like Bluetooth compatibility or anti-fog coatings. It’s always worth investing in a helmet that balances protection and comfort rather than cutting corners.
Final Thoughts
Your helmet is your primary safety gear, so prioritize fit and certification when shopping. Modular helmets offer great flexibility, but make sure the flip-up mechanism feels sturdy and easy to operate. Test for comfort and ventilation before buying if possible. With the right choice, you’ll enjoy safer, more comfortable rides every time.
