These are so cheap that I got this.. tried it on and immediately purchased an additional one in the smaller size so I could have one for the days I want that “slim fit ” look. ‘m not saying this XL doesn’t look slim as is, cuz it does. I was afraid that the factory-recommended size chart would be too big for me.. but it was doot. So yeah.. also.. someday I would like to get a real Scott Perfecto.. and this jacket is a great way to feel out your size and fit to see what you may like. That the pocket zippers are clearly not YKK or if they are they are a budget version. Schotts are Great. This HWK is a copy of the original 613 Motorcycle jacket that Marlon Brando wears in “The Wild One.” as well as Elvis, the Ramones, Bruce Springsteen, and many more.. It has been a constant icon in American fashion and is synonymous with young rebellion.The 626 s that i got are the lightest weight that they make as most of their line are true Motorcycle jackets crafted from VERY heavy leather with thick padding. They are meant to be worn my riders in wind and cold .In contrast.. THIS HWK is MUCH thinner than all Schotts (Keep in mind that the Schott Perfectos have NO padding and rely on their heavily built structure for protection. whereas these HWKS have the removable padding.This lighter build of the HWK could be viewed as a downside, however. I personally see it as an UPSIDE. as even the Schott Perfecto 626 and 626vn are still too heavy for warmer weather…. in mid 70 degree the schotts are just too warm!. So these HWK are GREAT for wearing in mid to high 60s and up.”

The sleeves are just right with the ability to adjust around the wrist coupled with the side adjustments when wearing more bulky clothing underneath. The first thing I could tell is the company prides themselves on quality down to the box it’s sent in. The style is perfect for riding or just a casual wear out for dinner. You can certainly find less expensive Leather Jackets on the market, however in my experience you will be unsatisfied and wasting your time. Note: Jacket also arrived 1 day earlier than advertised. HUSBAND SIZING: This jacket is amazing! I purchased it for my husband and he is obsessed. He is 5’8 and weighs between 180 pounds. However, I really wanted this to fit him properly (because it is a “slim” fit jacket) so I measured his chest at the widest part and he measured 40 inches exactly. I was so worried about it being too tight on his shoulders or too short but it looks perfect on him. I could not recommend their sizing chart more!!*** Just a few updates on sizing if it helps someone else out! Although the jacket did LOOK like the fit was great it ended up being too tight on his shoulders, chest and stomach when he tried to actually function in it. This jacket is a slim fit jacket by definition so if you are on the high end of the recommended measurements OR prefer your jackets to be a little looser fitting (which my husband does) we would definitely recommend sizing up one size. Because of this, we exchanged his medium for a large and he could not be happier! QUALITY & SPECS: Honestly, I was slightly hesitant about this jacket because my husband doesn’t like clothes that look too trendy and I also didn’t know if the jacket would be a cheap replica of the photos shown in the ad or not (we’ve received some comically terrible fakes before 😂). The jacket also has ribbed arm cuffs for the perfect fit and is even wind resistant and keeps him cozy warm while he is riding. Keep in mind that this jacket is a thin leather, so wear it riding at your own discrepancy. This jacket is exceptional quality overall and we are very impressed. BEST FRIEND SIZING: After seeing how awesome this jacket was, my husband’s best friend decided to buy it in black. Again, he is 6’7 tall, 300 pounds and has a chest measuring in at 49.5 inches. (48.0 inches relaxed, 50.0 inches when standing straight up and chest out). Based off the recommended sizing chart he fell perfectly within the lines of a 2XL and being the height that he is, decided to buy a 2XL TALL. The jacket he received is the same exact awesome quality we anticipated, so I’ll save you that spiel. HOWEVER, the fit of the jacket was too tight for him and even in the 2XL TALL sizing, the bottom of the gray jacket was roughly 4-5 inches above the bottom of the leather jacket. The jacket did fit him in the sense that it did zip no problem (you can see him standing in our garage in the black jacket in one of my numerous photos in the 2XL TALL sized jacket). The problem was that it was too tight in his shoulders and the length of the jacket, particularly of the hooded under portion. When he moved, flexed, took a deep breath of air or had any regular movement the jacket was too tight on him. He told me it fit like a “baby Gap” jacket on him 😂. After really diving into the “big and tall” sizing chart we decided to exchange it for a 3XL (the options were awkwardly a “3XL” or a “XXXL” so based on the color he wanted we opted for the “3XL” since there was no tall option to choose from). After receiving the 3XL he told me that it did fit much better but unfortunately the shoulders were still a little too tight and the shortness of the jacket really bothered him (keep in mind this guy is 6’7) so he would also recommend sizing up! CONCLUSION: Overall, this jacket is one of the most impressive purchases we’ve ever made on Amazon and we highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed! The sizing chart is impressively legit, but keep in mind that this is a slim fit jacket so if you want a looser fit or find yourself on the high end of the sizing chart, do yourself a favor and size up one :). Honestly I should have gotten the xl tall. But this jacket looks good on me not all bulky, for once it’s a nice fit! Customer Review: “This jacket is not only good looking it is good quality. There’s an inner liner included for colder temperatures. It’s 1.2 mm to 1.3 mm thickness gives it plenty of weight and protection. Not to mention wind protection. On really cold days when temperatures are below 40° f down to as low as negative digits Fahrenheit , all I have to do is put a hoodie on underneath it, zip up the jacket, fasten the belt and I am nice and warm. There are plenty of pockets not to mention two very large and deep inside pockets which are perfect for putting your phone or a firearm for personal protection.
